Wolfgang to forego Tremonti tour due to Van Halen commitments

Wolfgang Van Halen will not be joining Tremonti on their upcoming tour due to scheduling conflicts with Van Halen.  Wolfgang plays bass in both bands, and Van Halen just announced a summer tour of their own.  Although none of the bands' tour dates overlap, Wolfgang will likely be tied up with rehearsals and other preparations for the Van Halen tour.

Replacing him will be Tanner Keegan, an Indiana native who currently fronts the Tanner Keegan Band in Orlando.  Prior to that, Tanner played bass with Indorphine, an Orlando-based alternative metal band.

Wolfgang famously joined Tremonti barely a day before their first tour was scheduled to begin in September 2012, after original bassist Brian Marshall bowed out to enter rehabilitation.  He played with the band for the entirety of their All I Was tour, and contributed bass duties to their upcoming sophomore album, Cauterize.
